aldenbrooke is a werewolf supernatural game revolving around the alden pack, set in the fictional town of aldenbrooke, washington. The idyllic little town, with a population of just under one thousand people, is located on the outskirts of the North Cascades National Park, not far from the small city of Bellingham, and just two hours North of Seattle and two hours South of Vancouver, Canada. The Village of Aldenbrooke is widely known for its charming, small-town appeal with lovely residential homes, quaint downtown shops and restaurants as well as our beautiful recreational parks and facilities. The town is rich with its own culture, having been founded shortly after 1889, by the very family that the town was named after, and still has strong roots in - The Alden Family, who hold their own little secret that very few humans in the town know about. they are werewolves, and will do everything they can to protect their identities and the pack they lead right there amongst the townspeople. This game will be focusing on the lives of the pack members as they balance their lives between the human world and the supernatural. As of the start of the game, almost all humans do not know supernatural beings exist. Werewolves are not the only beings - but they are the only ones allowed in game. See below for details on the lore we will be going by, as well as any info you may need.

We strive to make this game as fun as possible, so there aren't too many rules to abide by. Just a few basics! - keep OOC and IC lines separate. we do not tolerate drama of line crossing.
- no godmodding. discuss lines with your fellow storyline partners, do not assume another character has said or done something if it hasn't been discussed ooc first.
- please run all major lines by the mods.
- all characters and pbs must be 18+ due to adult content
- be sure to tag all sensitive materials and sexual content with the appropriate triggers and warnings
- please be sure to inform mods for hiatuses lasting longer than a week.
- keep everything friend's locked other than ooc/ic posts in journals
if any of the major rules are broken, the mods will speak to you and issue a warning, but if they become a persistent problem, you will be asked to leave the game.

Applying to the game is very easy! Just make sure you have a journal dedicated solely to your character - IC or OOC usernames are both allowed - with icons of your chosen PB, and IC and OOC post, including info and/or a biography on your character. We aren't requiring anything too lengthy, though. A few paragraphs, bullet points and facts, or a full bio, it's totally up to you. Please just make sure you have a grasp on your character and the post is open for people to see. Any biographies you do write, though, should include the following. - Basic info (name, age, rank, mated status, job/role in the pack)
- Some information on how your character became a werewolf and entered the Alden Pack
- A small bit of personality/what makes them tick
Once all of that is set up, you're free to apply your character!! Upon acceptance, you can make a post in the OOC community to introduce your character and talk lines with people. Now, we aren't requiring examples, but we do reserve the right to deny any application that doesn't meet the requirements and/or we do not feel would be a good fit for the game. Your application will be deleted if that is the case. Otherwise, have fun!

This is a GPSL, and we understand people have lives - and RL >>>> RP - but we do want this game to succeed, so we need active members to do that. activity requirements

One substantial and one interactive post per month. We also ask that you make sure the posts you use for activity show interaction on the part of your character.

update requirements

For your substantial post, that includes threads/logs, long entries, and narratives. For interactive, that can be any size, but it has to be open to the community to reply to.

Throughout the month, we will ask for you to drop off your activity in a post in the mod journal.
